Botulinum
Botulinum is a prescription-only medicine. Italian law prohibits advertising it to the public, so this page explains how it works and offers neither a price nor a booking.
How it acts
Botulinum toxin temporarily reduces contraction in the muscle it is injected into. Because many upper-face lines are caused by repeated contraction, reducing that contraction softens the line. It does not act on volume and does not replace a filler.
Why there is no price here
Because it is a prescription medicine. Putting a price or a booking button next to the name of a medicine is advertising a drug to the public, which is not permitted in Italy. Indication, dose and whether treatment is appropriate are assessed in consultation, as with any other medicine.
Risks and contraindications, briefly
Like any medicine it has possible side effects: headache in the following days, transient asymmetry, and more rarely temporary drooping of the eyelid.
